Dear Lehendakari,
This letter from ASKAPENA, NGO of Basque solidarity with the Peoples, aims to inform you about the existence of an Advisory Opinion issued by the International Court of Justice, that states the illegality of the Wall that the Zionist Entity ("Israel") is building on Palestinian territory.
This Apartheid and Shame Wall is just another expression of the strategy of the authorities, the civil society and the economic sector of the Zionist Entity to illegally and unlawfully occupy all the Palestinian territory in order to create a State and a Society exclusively Jewish, as is stated in its "Constitution".
To achieve this aim not only they are building the Wall (720 km have been already built) but also all the infrastructures, as roads, settlements, water pipes, industrial zones, etc, on Palestinian land made by public and private enterprises are a "legal" burglary of the Palestinian land, and it make impossible the very existence of Palestina socially as well as economically.
As soon as a person or a group of inhabitants peacefully resist the occupation, the government and the civil/military society, the occupation physically eliminate them using all kind of terrorism and lese-humanity crimes. Besides, homes, olive groves, infrastructures and human are daily destroyed.
Given the current international law regarding military occupation, The Hague Agreement, the Geneva Convention, the Universal Declaration on Human Rights, the Convention on Childhood Rights, the NNUU Resolutions, the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice, the European Union Report from November 25 2005 and the Self Determination of the Peoples Principle, the Palestinian people resistance is legitimate and is the direct consequence, not cause, of the Zionist terrorist conduct, aggravated with the connivance of the international community in general, and a large part of the Basque society in particular.
The Zionist entity political parties, unions and all civil/military society as a whole, as well as the Zionist lobby acting especially in the US of America, share, support and encourage the Palestinian extermination policies in order to establish the "Israeli State" in "a land without men for men without a land". (We clearly distinguish between Israeli and Zionist people, and those people who profess the Jewish religion but reject the Zionist entity society and government racist and terrorist politics and objectives). With the aim of obtaining the international community complicity or indifference, the Zionist invest a large amount of human and economic resources in projects and collaborations favouring the acceptance of the fact that "Israel" is a democratic, welfare and modern state with normalized relations in all the fields, especially in the political and diplomatic one.
Therefore, and without deepening the details [you could get the information about on the following (among others) web sites www.divest-from-israel-campaign.org , www.stopthewall.org ], we would like to inform you that any political-diplomatic collaboration with any Zionist entity or citizen, regarding any subject, even if it seems to be civil and a-political, will be considered by us complicity with its lese-humanity crimes. A widespread boycott of any Israeli-Zionist academic, scientific, commercial, financial, artistic, cultural, sportive, communicative, etc., expression is essential to compel them to give up its racist and genocide project, as happened In South Africa with the government and Boer civil society Apartheid regime.
This is the reason why we are compelled to demand you to suspend all kind of relations with any Zionist entity or citizen, and to keep this suspension, at least until the Zionist entity fulfils its obligations according to the aforementioned Advisory Opinion, observes the rules of the Geneva Convention and the 53 United Nations resolutions regarding it and violated by Israel since 1948, and reaches a reliable negotiated agreement with the competent and democratically elected Palestinian authorities.
If we do not receive a positive answer and the guarantee that you will take into account what we stated, we will be oblige to inform the Basque society that you actively collaborate with the Zionist entity and its lese-humanity crimes against the Palestinian people.
